1. When and how did you become a Christian? Jim Olsen: "When I was 20 years old, my aunt was near death. Our family went to South Carolina to visit the family. The Lord had been convicting me of my sin. I saw a tract called, "What must I do to be saved?" by John R. Rice. This was at 4:00 AM. I took the tract, went to our car, and prayed as sincerely as I knew how to repent of my sins and trust Jesus. The next morning, the whole world looked different to me! I felt clean and new. That was 38 years ago and I can say that the Lord has been good to me." 2. How did becoming Christian change you? Jim Olsen: "I had a desire to please God, to know more of His Word and to apply it to my life. My habits, thoughts, and speech changed. My relationships with others improved." 3. How would you describe your relationship with Jesus today? Jim Olsen: "He is very real to me. I desire to walk with Him. I do my best to follow the leading of His Word and Spirit, and let Him guide me and change me." 4. In the past 12 months, how much time have you spent in prayer with Jesus daily? Jim Olsen: "20 minutes." 5. In the past 12 months, how much Bible reading have you averaged daily? Jim Olsen: "20 minutes." 6. In the past 12 months, what percentage of your income have you returned to God? Jim Olsen: "10 percent." 7. In the past 12 months, how many non-Christians have you told why Jesus died? Jim Olsen: "10 people." 8. In the past 12 months, how many church services have you attended? Jim Olsen: "120." 9. Which church in which town do you attend most regularly? Jim Olsen: "Watts Holiness Church in Sallisaw, OK." 10. Which gift(s) has the Holy Spirit given to you and what fruit(s) have they borne? Jim Olsen: "Tongues, interpretation, word of knowledge. Edification of the body of Christ."
