South Dakota voters will vote for a new Governor since Governor Mike Rounds, first elected in 2002, is affected by term limit. Senator Tim Johnson, re-elected in 2008, will not face the voters again until 2014, but Senator John Thune, first elected in 2004, will face the voters this fall, along with Congresswoman Stephanie Sandlin.
